I am disgusted

This! This right here! This disgusts me. If you haven't heard about it yet, now you have. If this does not infuriate you, it should. I really don't feel like I need to make any more comments on this article other than this.

Young Buck is no longer part of G-Unit! That's messed up!

A friend commented w/ helpful advice. Scary that people can't figure this out on their own.

I frankly don't see what all the outrage is about. This isn't any different than the beatings that went on when we were in school, and rumors/accounts flew just as far as this went on the interwebs.
If there is outrage to be had, it's the stupidity that led to the video being created and posted in the first place. If you're going to do something stupid, don't document it, don't talk about it, don't let any evidence of it exist.
I don't want to hear about the "lack of human regard in our children," from anyone. Kids get beat up in and out of school, it's a more common event than anyone would want to think, but it's the reality of it.
TL;DR: Shit happens, and kids are stupid. To expect any more than that is set up for failure.

Where the hell did you go to school? And when people did get beaten up, weren't punishments dispensed almost immediately?

Not to say that people weren't punished when they did get caught, but there are always fights and altercations that don't get caught or documented. Seriously, violence happens, and with the "omg outrage," sensationalism this is recieving it makes me want whatever drugs everyone seems to be taking - oh wait that would be a pair of blinders, right.

Despite the 'sensationalist' circumstances I want to see these girls tried as adults. Doing something like that at /all/ let alone being cavalier about it means someone has never had to take responsibility for their actions.

This seems like a perfect time for them to start.

I hear what everlight's saying but the fact is, if we DON'T get up-in-arms about it, then people will start thinking it's okay. Getting up in arms may not change anything, but I believe that NOT getting up in arms WILL change things... for the worse.
